Sea Island cotton is a type of cotton that has the luster of silk and the feel of cashmere. Because it can only be cultivated in limited areas of the Caribbean and the West Indies, it is an extremely rare and valuable cotton.
Sea Island cotton contains a high amount of natural oils in its fibers, giving it a unique smoothness and exceptional feel against the skin unlike any other.
Because it allows for the creation of yarn that is voluminous, soft, supple, and yet strong, it becomes a material overflowing with a sense of luxury, featuring a distinctive sheen and a pleasant, smooth feel on the skin when worn. Every step of the process—spinning, knitting, dyeing, and sewing of the finished product—is carried out entirely in Japan.
