Sea Island cotton is a cotton that has the luster of silk and the feel of cashmere. Because it can only be cultivated in limited areas of the Caribbean and the West Indies, it is an extremely rare and valuable cotton.
Sea Island cotton contains a high amount of natural oils in its fibers, giving it a unique smoothness and an unparalleled pleasant feel on the skin.
Because it allows for the creation of yarn that is voluminous, soft, supple, and yet strong, it becomes a material overflowing with a sense of luxury, featuring a distinctive sheen and a delightfully smooth feel against the skin when worn. All processes—spinning, knitting, dyeing, and sewing of the finished product—are carried out entirely in Japan.
